In this one-day workshop, two life-science examiners will pro-actively prov=
ide you with the strategy an examiner uses, from starting an in-depth searc=
h right through until completion of the search and the examination report. =
Join us on the journey of opening, reading, analyzing and successfully fina=
lizing a report. This workshop will help you to understand the way this cur=
ious species - the EPO examiner - fulfils their task, so that you can file =
your next application as efficiently as possible. The workshop content is b=
ased upon some of the most popular presentations at the EPO's annual showca=
se of search expertise - the "Search Matters" seminar. Particular attention=
will be given to focusing upon the classic mistakes made by US applicants =
when submitting applications to the EPO, based upon differences in procedur=
e and law between the USPTO and EPO.
