Dear Bruce,
Looks like you may have a simple typo there. The normal format for
either a B1 or B2 would be a 7 digit number, which started at 2500001
when the JP law changed in 1995. You have the correct number of digits
in your reference, so maybe someone is using an 8-digit field for
publication number and just tacked the first 'B' on the end at data
input time. According to the JPO concordance, JP 2935750-B corresponds
to JP 06-508279-A which is clearly a PCT transfer case. It's based on
WO 92/22264-A listing Allergan as applicant.
