Dear David,

Questel's entire search system allows for proximity searching within n
terms using term1 nW term2 (terms in the order specified) or term1 nD
term2 (terms in either order).

Our fixed-fee QPAT service, which includes Questel's exclusive
international FamPat database of invention-based patent families, as
well as full-text patent databases, plus access to legal status and PDFs
of patents, may be an excellent option for you. The databases in QPAT
are also available on a pay-as-you-go basis in our traditional online
system.

Further information about QPAT may be found at the following URL:

We would be happy to schedule a demo for you.

Best,

Subject: [PIUG List] proximity operator, patent databases with

I am looking for a patent database which allows searching by proximity
operators (i.e. the ability to search for A and B within n words of each
other). Any suggestions?

I am familiar with Delphion, where the operator would be A <near/5> B to
search for A and B within 5 words of each other. I assume there are
other (lower cost?) options.
