Micropat (www.micropat.com) have vareity of operators along with usual (OR,
AND, NOT, etc.) and are very useful such as:

*ADJn : *Selects only documents containing both search terms when the terms
are WITHIN the range set. ADJ searches only left to right, and can cross
sentence boundaries. The default range is one word, and when a number is
appended, this extends the word range for
finding the terms in proximity.

*NEARn :* Selects only documents containing both search terms when the terms
are WITHIN the range set. The NEAR operation searches either to the left or
right, and can cross sentence boundaries. The default range is one word, and
when a number is appended, this extends the word range for finding the
terms.

*SAME :* Selects only documents containing both search terms when the terms
are WITHIN the same paragraph. Paragraphs are defined by the ¶ character.

*WITH* : Selects only documents containing both search terms when the terms
are WITHIN the same sentence.
