[PIUG List] EPO Search Seminar - The Hague - 7 & 8 April 2008

Dear PIUG members,

We are pleased to inform you that the EPO's "Search Matters 2008" seminar=
 
is now open for registrations. The event will take place at the EPO's
conference centre in The Hague on 7 & 8 April. There are only 250 places=
 
available, and registrations are open until 29 February, unless it sells
out before then (which is quite possible).

The EPO are offering morning lectures on a range of search topics, and
afternoon workshops on a variety of specific technical areas covering
biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, computing and more. The registration=
 
fee for those attending four workshops will be 250?. For a higher
registration fee of 500?, delegates can exchange two of their workshop
choices for an afternoon meeting one-to-one with an EPO patent examiner to=
 
discuss specific searching issues in their own technical field. Places
for this option are strictly limited - so again our advice is to book
early.
