[PIUG List] Receiving readable email from the PIUG wiki using Lotus Notes (plus other important user options)

Anyone having difficulties with the format of "watch" email messages coming
directly from the PIUG wiki, especially users of Lotus Notes, should
consider changing your personal profile settings to receive such email
messages in "text" format.

 

After you have signed up for the PIUG wiki and logged in as well, you may
change your personal profile settings on
http://wiki.piug.org/users/editemailpreferences.action. Select "text" in the
dropdown box next to "Email format". I believe this should solve the issues
people are having either opening or reading email messages from the wiki
using Lotus Notes.

 

While on that page you should also determine that both check boxes are
checked-for "Subscribe to daily updates" and "Notify on my actions." For
more information on those functions, please view the micro-tutorial on

and viewable from http://www.piug.org/webinars.php.

 

If you are having other wiki access problems, please consider writing to me
directly rather than posting such messages on PIUG-L.
