Thank you for your encouraging note! I reiterate your comments and hope
that PIUG members take this opportunity to learn more about these new
tools, and bring modern (semi-modern) information retrieval tools to the
forefront of the patent information field. A BIG Thank You also goes to
Sherri for doing a great job keeping PIUG informed of all these IRF
activities!
I have the pleasure to inform you that I have been in communications
with Elisabeth Piveteau, the IRF2008 Organizaing Committee, to start the
collaboration between PIUG and IRF. The IRF is interested in
participating in our PIUG annual conference next May, 2009 at San
Antonio, TX. Stay tuned for more details about next year's PIUG annual
conference program and activities!
