The reply from Agnieszka has got me intrigued. Clearly the date
mentioned by Brian matches with the one supplied by Agnieszka, but there
seem to be some extra digits in the initial enquiry:
Brian asked about 06/07/07680
Agnieszka found 0607680
The initial "06" is probably derived from the year of application, but
what about the first "07"? Does France use series codes similar to the
US, or is there some other explanation for why these extra two digits
seem redundant?
Thanks
Stephen
