[PIUG List] STN Chemistry Searching Workshops in Bern

You are invited to attend two free STN Workshops in Switzerland
presented by FIZ CHEMIE.

1. April 2008 - Advanced Structure Searching:
A free one-day course in English with practical examples in which
special topics and refining techniques in structure searching in
REGISTRY on STN are presented. Included are EXACT and FAMILY searches
with variable bonds, searches with variable positions of substituents
in rings and the application of user-defined structure fragments in
G-groups. Experience in structure searching is required.

2. April 2008 - Introduction to Polymer Searching:
A free one-day course with practical examples for identifying polymers
by names, molecular formula, Registry Nos. of monomers or structures
in REGISTRY, including searches in CAplus. Attendees should have basic
knowledge of these databases (Workshop "Introduction to
CAplus/REGISTRY").
