RE: [PIUG List] PCT publications with B1 suffix

Good morning Hilary,
B1 for PCT applications denotes that the application has amended claims con=
tained within, usually done in response to the ISR (which may be found in d=
ocuments with the kind code A1 or A3) saying amendments needed to be made t=
o distinguish the invention from the prior art in some way. Mike

Dear colleagues,

I recently conducted a search on Micropatent in which a PCT document WO
xxxxxxxxxxxx B1 was retrieved. Since then, every search has retrieved 2 or
3 of these documents. Can anyone explain what they are? I can't find
anything in the archives that explains the designation.
