We hope that this year's meeting will exceed your expectations. The agenda
and registration forms for members and vendors are available from our

The conference will open with an address from Michael Steiner of
RegentAltantic. Michael co-authored a white paper entitled "The Continuing
Evolution of the Pharmaceutical Industry: Career Challenges and
Opportunities". He is a Wealth Manager and a RegentAtlantic’s expert on 529
Plans and identity theft. He manages client relationships and provides a
broad range of advice which includes income tax planning and stock option
disposition strategies. Michael holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM
designation, is a Certified Public Accountant, and he holds a B.S. in
Business Administration from Hofstra University. Previously, Michael was a
supervisor with KPMG in their Personal Financial Planning Practice. He
frequently appears in the media, having been quoted in Fortune, Money, The
Star Ledger, The Daily Record and multiple financial services publications.
Michael is a regular presenter at CPA Society seminars and is an active
member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs, chairing the Young CPAs resource
group and serving on the Personal Financial Planning resource group. In
addition, Michael focuses on the financial planning needs of executives in
transition. Michael is chair of the Early Childhood Services Committee of
the JCC Metrowest and also serves on the Board of Trustees of JCC
Metrowest. He has been providing tax and financial planning advice since
1993.

On Tuesday afternoon after a day of hearing about the changes in our
industry and profession, we will close the conference with an address from
Nancy Sansalone of SLA about the Strategic Alignment Project that
Headquarters has begun. Nancy has 20 years of association management and
higher education experience. Just prior to joining SLA, she served as vice
president and chief financial officer of the American Association for
Higher Education (AAHE). There, she managed the day-to-day operations,
administration, and finances of the association. Prior to that, Sansalone
worked for 10 years with the Council of Graduate Schools, serving as vice
president for finance and administration and treasurer for the council's
board of directors. She is past president of NAWE: Advancing Women in
Higher Education; past chair of the National Conference for College Women
Student Leaders; and past president of the Capitol Association for Women in
Education. She holds a bachelor's degree in Political Science and a
master's degree in Public Administration from Northeastern University in
Boston. She is working toward an advanced graduate certificate in
management from Harvard University.
