Dear Vinod,

As you have mentioned that "*a element A*" having different functions at
different places. Its more on you have *one element* having one or more than
one properties but the element is the same.

Example is you are having a device element which works as catalyst. Now you
have option to choose that property of catalyst either works as oxidation or
reduction or amphoteric catalyst.

Hope this clarifies your doubt.
