Parking and Transportation: Parking garage is $4.00 per 24 hrs as in
previous years. The NJ Transit train station and Suburban Transit bus stop
is less than 2 blocks from the hotel.
Food for Tuesday:
There will be the usual continental breakfast and morning and afternoon
breaks. We won't run out of coffee, tea and sweets.
Lunch will be buffet style. If you want a kosher meal, let me know. I'll
try to get fresh meals (not frozen airline meals) like last year.
Buffet menu:
Villager salad of cucumbers and tomatoes
Grilled portobello mushrooms with grilled tomatoes, sauteed swiss chard and
goat cheese on tabbouleh
Hummus with pita chips
Marinated Mediterranean olives and cheese
Mediterranean greens with preserved lemon dressing
Grilled flank steak served with orange and cilantro
Chicken brochette
Mediterranean couscous
Seafood paella filled with mussels, calamari and shrimp
Penne tossed in herb sauce with broccoli and roasted tomatoes
Mascarpone cheesecake with fresh fruit
Amaretto cookies
Chocolate bar news:
Bad news first: Sweet Memories in Butler NJ has gone out of business.
Good news: Chocolates by Daisy in Pompton Lakes NJ has chocolate that is as
good. We'll be getting similar chocolate bars. Instead of half dark and
half milk chocolate, I'm getting 60% dark and 40% milk chocolate bars due to
the higher demand for dark chocolate last year.
See you all there.
