I missed the original email on this topic. Not all of the manufacturers are=
 making it easy to excercise the Windows XP downgrade option. Dell does no=
t offer this service on all models.

 

If anyone needs assistance with downgrading a machine from Vista to XP, you=
 can take a look at my offer on www.xpdowngrade.com

 

I also keep an inventory of Dell PC's and laptops that ship with Windows XP=
 Pro and Home Edition.

I just received an email from Dell promoting the Windows Downgrade Service =
on its new notebook and desktop computers.

  

Yes, you can buy a computer with Windows Vista preinstalled and replace Vis=
ta with Windows XP.
