[PIUG List] 2008 PIUG NE Conference

The 2008 PIUG NE Conference is coming. We are trying a 4 day format this
year. And we have an
even better space for the exhibit room this year!

Dates: M-Th October 13-16, 2008
Where: Hyatt Regency in New Brunswick NJ

Monday October 13: STN Patent Forum
Tuesday October 14: PIUG NE Conference
Wednesday, October 15: Vendor workshops and trainings
Thursday, October 16: ThomsonReuters workshops/training

Program Chair: Rick Williams (Vertex Pharmaceuticals)
Fundraising: Zhifu Shu (ExxonMobil)
Registration Chair: WE NEED A REGISTRATION CHAIR!

We also need volunteers for the evaluations, registration committee,
signage, and meeting book.

Rooms at the Hyatt are $192/night for single and double occupancy. Triple
is $217 and Quadruple is $242. Parking is $4/24 hr period. Call the hotel
at 732-873-1234 or 800-233-1234. A URL for room reservations via the web is
being set up.

Registration:
$50.00 PIUG members
$90.00 Non-members and after September 17, 2008
Registration link is being set up.

Workshops:
Barry Brager, Innography, PatentInsightPro and FIZ Karlsruhe are having
workshops on Wednesday. Information will be updated as received.

Sponsors, workshop space is filling up fast. To have a workshop, you must
be a sponsor. Registration rates and sponsorship levels will probably be
the same as last year. Workshop arrangements same as last year. People
prefer training in the workshops.
