[PIUG List] Questel reload of Inpadoc Legal Status (LGST) Database

Questel is pleased to announce that the Inpadoc Legal Status (LGST)
database has been reloaded on Questel Orbit with several useful
enhancements.

 

New and redesigned displays to help decode the EPO action codes:

- Action details easier to read (ACT, ACTE, LAST)

- Publication Stages with text description (PUB)

- Latest actions, codes, signs, event groups, dates in separate
fields for easy searching or building SDIs

 

New Search features:

- Search name change index (NMC) or separate fields for changes to
owners (OWR), inventors (INV), Opposition (OPP), Requestors (REQ) and
Representatives (REP).

(NMC/EG or NMC/LEG searches for any legal event where names have
changed.)

- See quickly at a glance if patent is "dead" or "alive" in
accordance with latest actions reported by the EPO.
