Dear Mark and all
The best source for nineteenth-century UK patents is the UK IP Office's
Sales Department who can be contacted by telephone on +44 (0)1633 813651
or fax on +44 (0)1633 814444 during UK office hours. Unfortunately they
do not email or web orders.
Regards

Subject: [PIUG List] UK Bonehill Patent
I am hoping to obtain some help from my friends at PIUG. I am
researching a
British made shotgun, likely dating to the 1880's or so, that was made
by
the firm of "C.G. Bonehill". A number of these were imported into the
U.S.
by Winchester Arms. There is a patent number "3718 1877" on the side of
the
receiver. One of my reference books indicates this as Number 3,718 of
1877.
Since Bonehill was based in Birmingham, I am assuming this was a British
patent., perhaps a design only. Can anyone advise on how I may obtain a
copy?
