Dear colleagues,
At last I have time to sit down following my return from the US and
Vienna, to respond to the kind messages concerning my award.
It was a wonderful surprise and I am very grateful to the Board members
of PIUG for approving the award.
It has been my pleasure to contribute to PIUG in the manner which best
suits my skills, particularly through workshops and the discussion
list. It was noted during the 20th anniversary celebrations that it has
always been key to the development of PIUG for its individual members to
be able to set aside commercial rivalries and contribute to the overall
health of our profession by sharing experience, for the benefit of all.
To the extent that I have been able to do that, then I have had the
privilege of furthering the group's aims and able to have a lot of fun
at the same time.
