Michele,

As indicated in the response below, Chilean patents can be searched
directly at Chile's DPI.
As far as I am informed the database does contain all data available.
Please be aware that for a lot of entries no or erroneous priority
information is present in the database. Should you wish to check for the
existence of equivalents in Chile for other known patents, do not forget
to check using inventor names, applicants or title terms in case a check
by priority does not find an equivalent.

http://www.dpi.cl/dpi_web/Frm_general.asp once you register with their
Department of
Industrial property.
However, they do not provide an English language interface for search.
For registration purposes however they do have .pdf documents mirroring
the spanish language forms to be filled out that can act as user guides.
I have tried this and it works well. Once you register they do email a
user name (which is your own choice)
with password access data (in my case it was a set of 6 numbers). Again,

the email was in Spanish so knowing what one gets may be of help.
