Dear Mike,

Our resources are not free but we do offer convenient and inexpensive machi=
ne translations of JP PCTs according to the following fee schedule.

JP PCTs republished by the JPO: $39 per document regardless of length
        Republication is usually 2 years after the WIPO publication date.

JP PCTs only available in image format: $13 per page for the first 100 page=
s, $7 per page thereafter
        Selected pages can be ordered at $13 per page with a minimum charge per do=
cument of $90 (These require OCR and proofreading to make electronic text s=
uitable for machine translation.)

JP PCTs available in full text: $4 per page for the first 100 pages, $2 per=
 page thereafter
        Selected pages can be ordered at $4 per page with a minimum charge per doc=
ument of $90
        The full text documents became available in July. Our online quoting syste=
m sets the break at August 1 because there is more of a mix in the July pub=
lications. But if a clean full text publication (not OCR) is available, we =
reduce the price accordingly when we process the order.

Paterra MTs are supplied as single PDF files in a two-column, paragraph-ali=
gned layout with all of the images, scanned formulas and scanned tables ins=
erted in the correct positions. Drawings and tables are not machine transla=
ted but manual translation can be ordered separately.

like for JP documents on the PAJ website? I am aware of the fee based serv=
ices, but need a free resource for screening a lot of documents.
