QPAT v 3.5 includes a number of enhancements including:
- Introduction of German full-text applications, grants, and utility models (coverage currently starts in 2004 but will cover back to the 1980’s later this fall)
- Faster delivery of electronic patent copies via our PDS service
- Direct access to PDS, which includes the recently announced enhancements - bulk downloading, printing, and emailing
- Direct export and access to PatentExaminer
In the coming months QPAT will be completely redesigned to offer users additional features, databases, and enhanced usability.

QPAT:
Patent
information service for users of all experience levels with an easy-to-use
web interface at an annual subscription price. Search patents, order
patent documents, analyze retrieved information that you can then
use to generate reports, visualize relationships among data in real
time, and more. QPAT gives access to the most important patent databases,
including our own international files - FamPat and PlusPat, and full
text of DE, EP, FR, PCT and US.
PatentExaminer v 1.2 includes the integration of our FamPat database as well as:

Importing from FamPat, PlusPat, and all our full-text patent databases from results generated from all our search interfaces including Imagination, Qweb, Qweb 2, and QPAT

Results organized by FamPat families making it easier to see the relationship between family members

All A document electronic patents are included in the family as well as all available text from the corresponding full-text files or PlusPat records if no full text is available

SDI Alerts from FamPat can now be automatically imported into PatentExaminer
If you are a PatentExaminer subscriber or customer, all your existing files, including highlighting, annotations, full-text records and PDFs, electronic patents, have automatically been updated and sorted by FamPat family.
