A lot of interesting articles on patent law and practice are published
in a magazine called The Law Works, which covers all kinds of
intellectual property law, but mostly US and mostly patents. The
latest 5 issues are on their web site in full text, at

http://www.lawworks-iptoday.com/

Most of the articles are written by lawyers for lawyers, but they can
provide valuable information about the technical aspects of validity and
infringement. Some of the information is less esoteric than that, for
example, in the February issue, "An Overview of Patent Litigation In
the United States" by Ethan Horowitz and Charles S. Ryan. There are
also listings of recently filed and recently decided patent and
trademark cases, which could provide early alerting of litigation
between companies your clients are interested in.
