Questel consultants: Alex Butler, Benoit Chevalier, and Patrick Pierre have been listed in the IAM guide for individuals with an established track record in developing and rolling out world-class IP value creation programmes.
IAM Strategy 300 – The World’s Leading IP Strategists identifies the individuals leading the way in the development and implementation of strategies that maximise the value of IP portfolios.
Originally designed to be used by senior executives inside IP-owning organisations, the IAM Strategy 300 initially excluded individuals working for operating companies – businesses that primarily develop, license in and/or buy intellectual property to use within their products.
However, for the 2015 edition of the guide, the qualification criteria were changed so that individuals in every kind of entity can be considered for inclusion.
Thus, for the first time, people working inside corporations, universities and research institutions are also featured in the IAM Strategy 300 2015.
To build the final list of individuals featured in the guide, Intellectual Asset Management (IAM) undertook an extensive research process.
This involved face-to-face and telephone interviews, as well as email exchanges, with senior members of the global IP community.
An online form was also created to enable people to make confidential nominations.
However, no individual could qualify for a listing in the IAM Strategy 300 unless he or she was nominated by at least three people from outside of his or her own organisation. Even this did not guarantee inclusion; instead, only those individuals who further research showed to have exceptional skill sets, as well as profound insights into the development, creation and management of IP value, are featured in the IAM Strategy 300.
