Artificial Intelligence assisted translations in Orbit products – CN collection 2010

Quality of patent data is the foundation of any IP search and analysis, being able to search high quality English translations is a must.

Since October 2019, introduction of our first AI powered translation for weekly documents of the Chinese collection, we have since released AI powered translations for multiple weekly feed collections such as JP, KR, TW, FR, CA (in FR), DE, CN (from PCT), TW.

Today all CN documents from 2010 have been retranslated (>700k documents) meaning documents from 2010 or newer now have the highest AI translation quality, corresponding to >83% of the entire Chinese patent collection (>21M documents).

Watch out for our future communications, as we plan to cover more authorities such as Russia, Brazil and Spain as well as retranslate entire historical collections.
