Artificial Intelligence assisted translations in Orbit products – JP collection

Quality of patent data is the foundation of any IP search and analysis, being able to search high quality English translations is a must.

Since October 2019, introduction of our first AI powered translation for weekly documents of the Chinese collection, we have been releasing AI powered translations for multiple weekly feed collections such as JP, KR, TW, FR, CA (in FR), DE, CN (from PCT), TW.

Focused on Japanese data, documents from 2017 to date have been fully translated! This includes applications, grants and utility models adding up to more than 4M documents.

Watch out for future communications, as we plan to cover our entire Japanese backlog as well as more languages such as Russian, Portuguese and Spanish.
