European Reassignment

Patent assignee ownership updated with reassignment actions from the EPO.

At Questel we’re committed to provide clean, up-to-date ownership information for our data. Our latest enhancement within this area is the complete integration of reassignment data from the European patent office. This data has been available within our products for some time but now:

• The normalized patent assignee for the family will be updated based on EP reassignment data.
• The assignment type field will be available allowing you to see whether the reassignment in question relates to:
  • An original owner.
  • Inventor >> company transfer.
  • Company name change.
  • Acquisition.
  • Etc.
